ViVA! 2011 - Goes Polynesian
5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011
Rembert Farm - Alachua, Florida
ViVA! 2011 - Goes Polynesian benefits Haven Hospice and is the annual fundraising event that brings excitement and celebrity flair to the Gainesville, Florida area. Live music, Polynesian cuisine and exciting live and silent auctions highlight the festivities. One hundred percent of the proceeds from ViVA! 2011 - Goes Polynesian will remain in the communities we serve and help provide care for patients and their families as well as support the many unfunded programs and services offered by Haven Hospice.
ViVA! 2011 will again be held amid the beautiful rolling hills of the Rembert Farm in the heart of North Central Florida. The event promises to be bigger and better than ever with even more fun and excitement!
Last year, more than 800 guests and volunteers attended ViVA! 2010 and enjoyed Polynesian cuisine, music, auctions, gaming and more.

In memory of his grandmother...
Dalton made up his mind to buy a birdfeeder for every room of the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in memory of his grandmother, who died two days before the facility opened. Using a $40 allowance as seed money, the Lake City Middle School sixth-grader raised $570 to purchase 17 birdfeeders. "I thought they would look good outside of every room", he said.
